Biography
My name is Finlay Pitt, I'm 24 and from England. I studied Wildlife photography at Falmouth University from 2016 to 2019. I specialise in photography both on land and in the water, using my Nikon Z6 II, YI 4K+ Action Camera and Mavic Mini Drone. I am also a certified rescue diver and enjoy scuba diving and snorkelling.

Wildlife has always been a predominant aspect of my life, from growing up in Australia to the majority of my adult life spent working with numerous conservation and rehabilitation programmes in places such as Cyprus, Costa Rica and South Africa.

During the summer of 2018, I volunteered in Cyprus with a project called SPOT (Society for the Protection of Turtles). I came back in 2019, 2021, and 2022 working during the nesting and hatching season of green and loggerhead sea turtles. In 2021 I was the team leader and their photographer/social media manager. I was also able to partake in their bycatch project where I filmed the accidental bycatch hauled by fishermen in the Mediterranean.

In 2020 an image of mine of a butterflies wing taken through a microscope was used by Kate Moss for a clothing collection in colaboration with Save The Children. It was an Honour to be a part of and a milestone in my career.

My new and upcoming project will be in the Sahara with Max Adventure and will entail following a Banger Rally across the desert on the Dakar Rally Route where I will be one of the videographers.
